The YourBest Editorial Team writes, checks and publishes the pages on YourBestSavings, YourBestCards, YourBestLoanRates, YourBestCreditBuilder, YourBestTaxes and this site, for the publisher ByTheMath. We credit the team rather than individual writers because every published number goes through the same sourcing and review process.

How we source data

Rates, fees, terms and requirements come from each institution or card issuer’s own website and disclosures, with the date each was last confirmed. Tax dates and rules come from irs.gov and state tax agencies.

How we verify it

A daily automated scanner checks tracked source pages for changes. A person on the team reviews every flagged change against the source before it goes live, and stale records are re-checked. The ranking principles are on the methodology page.

Editorial independence

No company pays to be included or ranked higher. Affiliate status never affects the order of a ranking, a score or which rates we show, and paid links are labelled. See the disclosure.

Corrections
